Passenger & cargoliner in continuous service between New Zealand and England via Tahiti and the Panama Canal, with eastbound calls at Kingston, Port Everglades and Bermuda and westbound at Curacao. The one-way voyage took just over a month and attracted immigrants from the UK to New Zealand, and tourists eastbound. Mainly 4, 6 & 8-berth cabins. Sold to the Tung companies in 1968 as Oriental Esmeralda.
