DEFINITIONS:

Beam is width at widest point. | Cabins are usually for two passengers, but with some exceptions for singles, triples, quads, etc. | Crew is the normal total of all onboard officers, staff and crew. | Cruising Speed is normal operating speed in knots. | Draft is depth below waterline. | Former Names, if any, are numbered increasing from earliest to latest. | Gross Tonnage is the standard measure of a ship's size based on total enclosed space. | Length is measured between furthest points. | Passengers is normal capacity based on two passengers per cabin. | Passenger to Crew Ratio is the number of passengers per crew member, based on double occupancy. Lower numbers imply better service. The scores are all relative, but generally below 2 is excellent and above 3 may be lacking. Most of the standard mass market ships range between 2 and 3. | Space to Passenger Ratio is gross tonnage divided by double occupancy capacity. Generally, under 30 is high density, 30 to 39 is moderate, 40 to 49 is very generous and 50 or more is extremely spacious. | Year Built is when the ship entered service.

Cruise Type is the market sector and lifestyle of the ship. Ship Images may be of an identical ship of the same class.
